BAGSIK BAGNET OVERLOAD

Me and my office mates have been a fan of this store since 2013 and we still cannot get enough of their crunchy and yummy bagnet. But hey, we do not do it in a regular basis, kapag naiisipan lang at nagki crave..charot! ☺ The store is just around the corner near in our office.

The price is very reasonable given the taste of the bagnet. I think orig taste na sya ng bagnet Iloco if not e very close to that.

See that crunchy large chunk? Perfect for bagoong Balayan with calamansi sauce for dip. Satisfaction guaranteed after you have this. Believe me..haha! The only downside na nakikita ko eh, nakakasira lang sya ng diet. So dapat during cheat days lang to. And a no no for those who has hypertension and cholesterol problem, eh?

The 52 Week Challenge for Php 20.00

Saving is always a challenge for me given the situation that I am in at the moment. Sabi ko sa sarili ko I need something new that can motivate me. Ang hirap kasi talaga ang mag-save sa gitna ng gabundok na expenses like meralco, water bills, allowances ng mga students, rents, etc etc. May mai-se-save ka nga pero ewan ko ba everytime na ganun e merong dumarating na kailang paggagastusan. So I started reading, asking ideas and styles ng ibang kakilala ko on how to make it possible in a way na di masyadong nako compromise ang budget. 

One day, while I was browsing the net, I saw this Peso Challenge thing. Merong denomination from 5, 10, 20, 50, 100. It is your choice what will be your base amount. Let us say Php5.00. In one year, we have 52 weeks so for the Week 1, you will save Php5.00. then in Week 2, you have to double it, so it makes Php 10. You saved Php15.00 in total for 2 weeks! Not bad right? Di masyadong mabigat sa bulsa..So the process will go until you reached the Week 52 or end of the year. Your savings will up until Php 6,890.00!!  and you just started it with only Php 5.00.. How great is that?

So I decided to try the Php 20.

I printed this out then posted it sa wall in my office so I can see it everyday to remind me na, uy! may challenge ka ha? And then para iwas tukso na magamit ung naipon, I made a box and envelopes. Every envelope has its Week # and dates and the amount. The money is sealed in that envelope then I dropped it there. See photo below.

So there, my dropbox now is sitting somewhere safe and come Week 52, harvesting time na 😎 I actually shared this sa mga officemates ko ang now they are doing the same. So abangan natin sa end of this year. Okay?

Aztec Healing Clay Review

Years ago, I heard a lot of good feed backs and reviews about this product. Given the fact that I am also looking for something good for my skin especially in my face, I think this one is what I am looking for, so I decided to give it a try. 

It is known as the world's most powerful facial. It can be used as a deep pore cleansing, can soothe itchiness, can heal cracked skin and moisten dry or chapped top layer of our skin. I bought this tub in Healthy Options in Glorietta. I can no longer remember how much it cost, but it is more than Php 400.

HOW TO USE:

• Wash your face with warm water to open up your pores. Then towel dry it.
• Mix 1 tbsp of the clay powder with 1 tbsp of apple cider vinegar or more until the powder dissolved and formed into mud.Yes, it is really a mud, like literal mud :)
• Apply on face then leave it for 5-10 minutes. Then wash.

After the application you can feel that your skin tighten and pulsate, which is a good feeling.  And wow, after washing you can really see the difference. You will notice your face is a little bit red but ,no worries it will go away after few a minutes. 

I can say that this product is really great! I can rate it 5 stars. Affordable, easy to use and the effect is really amazing! (P.S. the little kiddo wants to be part of this blog too :) )

Pork Binagoongan For The Win!

For like years and years I have been wanting to try this dish kaso lang iniisip ko na baka di masarap if ako ang magluto. Then one day, I have decided to give it a go. So nung namalengke kami ni mama bumili ako ng bagoong alamang, which is very essential ingredients sa dish na to. Super easy lang pala gawin. More on simmering lang. 

Basically, these are the main ingredients, I just forgot to include the eggplants. So separate na lang sya :)

So, all you have to do is saute the pork bits in onion and garlic and fresh tomato slices. Add water and black pepper. Then a 2 tbsp of tomato paste then let it simmer until the pork is tender. Add the shrimp paste (alamang) and sugar to neutralize the saltiness. Then let it simmer until you have reached your desired thickness of the sauce. In a separate wok, fry the sliced eggplant and you are done with your perfect pork binagoongan!

And here is the end product! So perfect with steamed hot white rice..goodbye diet :)

We came from SM Sta. Rosa to buy some stuffs. He cannot help but to take a nap but the funny thing is that, he did it on the stairs. I thought he just joking kasi he does it all the time, ang magtulog tulugan. But when I came up to him, he is really asleep and snoring!

I have ordered these cute anti insect repellent from my friend who has this online shop for kids. And I got the items yesterday. Each bracelet costs P250 and pellet costs 40 each good for 7 days so I ordered extras. It smells good and the kids loved it.
